An icon across generations

What is encapsulated in the Vara Bow is the story of the uniqueness of every woman: each with her own step, her own story, her own identity, her own femininity. It is the versatility of a timeless code that, yesterday as today, continues to follow the rhythm of the moment.

This narrative is at the heart of the new project dedicated to the Vara Bow, in which a cast of special women embody the values of a heritage that has always anticipated and captured the spirit of modernity, across generations and different lifestyles.

Bianca Balti, Paloma Elsesser, Hyeri Lee, and Fiamma Paternò Castello di San Giuliano are the protagonists of a series of intimate portraits where they share their own story and their unique, spontaneous way of wearing the shoes with the Vara Bow.

Paloma Elsesser, runway icon and activist for inclusivity, embraces her individuality through an authentic language, revealing an inspired and conscious sense of style, understood as a true form of expression and affirmation.

Hyeri Lee, South Korean pop star and actress — member of the music group Girl’s Day — embodies a vibrant and dynamic energy, reflected in a fresh and casual image that radiates the most playful side of Vara.

Fiamma Paternò Castello di San Giuliano, representative of the fourth Ferragamo generation, granddaughter of the very same Fiamma who invented Vara, weaving a constant dialogue between heritage and future, between the prestige of family history and the aesthetic of a young woman passionate about art.

Fiamma-Ferragamo

Fiamma Ferragamo, eldest daughter of Salvatore, designed the Vara shoe in 1978 to meet the needs of increasingly emancipated and active women, searching for a shoe that was both comfortable and refined; in contemporary times, in a high-intensity present where women shape their lives with passion and boldness, recognizing in what they wear an extension of their personality.
