For the PF25 collection, Maximilian Davis draws inspiration from the Caribbean and West Africa: a palette adopted from picture postcards of Caribbean landscapes, discovered in eighties tourist brochures, alongside the expressive confidence of seventies Malian portraiture.

Leather goods appear particularly soft and supple: the new crushable bag, pierced with a Gancini needle, whose shape depends on the quality of its material, nappa and suede; buttery calfskin moccasins and pumps decorated with organic evolutions of the Vara chain; lace-up Derbies designed to be deliberately lightweight. The degradé Tramezza patina of leather jackets and men’s brogues and loafers pays subtle homage to classic techniques, while the utilitarian aesthetics appear through Hug backpacks with Gancio hardware and a shoulder bag iteration.
Tropical touches appear discreetly omnipresent: sun-stained palm fronds abstracted into graphic prints, or raffia fringing applied as a trim to leather sandals.
