The Medici. Unseen hands guiding its birth. In the vibrant epoch of the Renaissance, patrons—namely, the Medici— shaped not just an era, but places of eternal beauty like the Uffizi Galleries. Ferragamo, ever since embracing Firenze in 1927, has followed this noble tradition, pouring passion into myriad cultural projects to safeguard and exalt Firenze’s timeless treasures. This tradition unfurls within the Uffizi itself. Thanks to Ferragamo, rooms that lay silent now echo with admiration once more, including Room 25, home to Baldovinetti’s Annunciation and works by his celebrated pupil, Domenico Ghirlandaio. Ferragamo steps into the Medici’s visionary footprints, gifting a remarkable artistic heritage to the generations to come. Just as the past cradles the seeds of the future, Ferragamo believes that the heart of the future beats with the rhythm of the ancient.

2019. After two years of meticulous, complex restoration work, the Fountain of Neptune in Piazza della Signoria is unveiled to the public in all its ancient glory, and Florence’s most famous fountain is more triumphant than before now that its water supply system has been rebuilt to feed water to the majestic jets that, for the first time in history, will spray the way Bartolomeo Ammannati, the fountain’s designer, dreamed they would.

2015. Renovation of eight rooms in the Uffizi Gallery displaying late fifteenth century. Today, this amazing space displays 43 works of art (42 paintings and one sculpture) from the second half of the fifteenth century.
