Gazing upon the Arno River, this palatial wonder was crafted in 1289 by Geri Spini, a financier to popes and monarchs. Since 1938, its hallowed halls have echoed with Salvatore Ferragamo’s relentless pursuit of perfection. Timeless, suspended, connection. Ponte Vecchio, the bridge where wanderers find passage, perches over the Arno’s gentle waters. It’s a place where time stands still. Within its embrace, goldsmith workshops shimmer as age-old sanctuaries of masterful craft. It’s here Salvatore Ferragamo once treaded, selecting precious touches to adorn his illustrious designs, such as the iconic golden sandal. With its iconic architecture and pastel hues, Ponte Vecchio has forever beckoned the hearts of the bold and the curious.

Magnificence, triumph, reflection. In the heart of Florence, near Palazzo Vecchio, the Fountain of Neptune stands grand, its water dances and statues gleam with splendor. Crafted by Bartolomeo Ammannati in 1574 under the watchful eye of Duke Cosimo I de’ Medici, its intricate details and exquisite materials echo Ferragamo’s own values. In 2019, Ferragamo funded its restoration, a testament to the brand’s unwavering love for art and deep gratitude to the city that birthed its legacy.

In the 1950s, the halls of Palazzo Pitti’s Sala Bianca buzzed with the anticipation of Italy’s pioneering fashion showcases. Curious and avant-garde, Salvatore Ferragamo used this grand stage to unfurl his creative genius, captivating American investors and global media alike. At Palazzo Pitti, the chapters of Italian fashion’s illustrious history were penned, with Ferragamo bestowing glamour and effortless luxury on its pages.

Where art, architecture, and Florence’s charm converge in dramatic splendor, the Vasari Corridor unfolds its tale. Renovated and reopened in May of 2024, this stunning passageway was envisioned by Giorgio Vasari under the commission of Duke Cosimo I de’ Medici in 1565 and connects the storied Uffizi Galleries to Palazzo Vecchio, arching gracefully over Ponte Vecchio. Exemplifying the recurrent nature of Florence’s beauty, the Vasari Corridor, with its 73 windows overlooking the city, returns to captivate the modern traveler on an evocative journey.
