Sandal with an upper made of strips of kidskin and a silk cord. Carved wooden wedge with a painted geometrical pattern. The model is an application of one of the Ferragamo patents registered on 20 April 1943 regarding a wooden platform with a feature at the arch of the foot to make walking easier.
SABOT — 1940
Assira
Slip-on with a silk embroidered floral pattern on an alcantara upper. Oriental toe. "F"-shaped wooden wedge heel lined with nappa. The model comes under the Salvatore Ferragamo patent registered on del 10 February 1940 for a slip-on shoe with a sculpted heel and arched toe.

Autarchica
Sandal featuring an embroidered floral pattern and cross-stitching on a linen upper. The recycling of vegetable fibres in fashion accessories was largely down to Salvatore Ferragamo, who, having set up business in Florence, drew inspiration from a handcraft (straw) typical of the area. The "autarchic" period gave impetus to this kind of production.

Sandal with an upper formed by bands of suede in contrasting colours. The layered cork wedge is also lined with suede in the same colours. This model was created by Salvatore Ferragamo in 1940.

This sandal's key feature, a patented construction technique, lies in its special heel made out of four vertical cylinders in cork or other material arranged to form a cross that is slightly concave and inclined at the top, providing a support on which the heel can rest.
